Pamir Hakimzadah said “all non-Muslims should be killed” is free in Ontario

“TERROR FEARS: Two suspected ISIS returnees back in Ontario,” Postmedia News, November 20, 2019:

…Two suspected ISIS sympathizers are back in Ontario, according to published reports.

Truth North said Pamir Hakimzadah — a former Ryerson student — was sprung from a Canadian prison on May 24 — even though he was deemed an “undue risk to society.”

He reportedly tried to join the death cult in 2014 but was nabbed after travelling to Turkey where he was jailed for six months.

He allegedly said that “all non-Muslims should be killed.”

“He spoke either in favour of or in defence of ISIS. He viewed online ISIS content such as videos and posts. He also viewed a website that provided instructions on how to get into Syria,” a Crown lawyer involved in the case told True North….

Back home, prosecutors wanted a six-year sentence in a federal slammer for his alleged crimes, but last February, a judge sentenced him to six months in prison, giving him credit for the three years and seven months he already spent in custody. The sentencing came after he pleaded guilty to leaving Canada to participate in the activity of a terrorist group.

His time in prison was to be followed by three years of probation with a number of conditions, including undergoing psychotherapy, not possessing a gun or passport and undergoing “de-radicalization counselling.”…

Meanwhile, another Ontario man who was jailed in Turkey for three months is under a slew of court-ordered conditions because of “fear of [a] terrorism offence.”

CBC News reports that Ikar Mao, 22, of Guelph, and his wife were in Turkey last July when they were detained near the Syrian border.

They were suspected of terror-related activity but released without charge and booted back to Canada in mid-October….

'Too Many to Count': the Global Persecution of Christians...

by Raymond Ibrahim

Last November 10 was one of the International Day[s] of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (known by the acronym IDOP). Initiated over 20 years ago by the World Evangelical Alliance, 100,000 congregations around the world and millions of Christians participate on this day.
“This November let us unite in prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters,” IDOP said in a brief video that highlights a few examples of recent persecution, including the Easter Sunday church bombings in Sri Lanka and the ongoing slaughter of Christians by Islamic groups in Nigeria and increasingly Burkina Faso.
Discussing this day’s significance, Vernon Brewer, the CEO and founder of World Help, a Christian humanitarian organization, wrote:
It’s easy to go about our lives and forget that in places like Nigeria, Iran and North Korea being a Christian can often lead to death. After all, for the most part, persecution for our faith isn’t something most of us face… But I can’t forget the believers I’ve met in Iraq, China or at the North Korean border. I can’t forget their scars or their haunted eyes and horrific stories…  The more I travel, the more I see that in many countries Christian persecution is worse than ever before.
Statistics bear out this grim assertion: “4,136 Christians were killed for faith-related reasons,” noted Open Doors USA in its World Watch List 2019.  “On average, that’s 11 Christians killed every day for their faith.” Additionally, “2,625 Christians were detained without trial, arrested, sentenced and imprisoned” and “1,266 churches or Christian buildings were attacked.”
The report further asserts that a whopping 245 million Christians around the world are currently suffering from persecution.  In other words, “1 in 9 Christians experience high levels of persecution worldwide.”
Typically women fare worse: “In many places, they experience a ‘double persecution’— one for being a Christian and one for being a woman.”   As for specific numbers: “At least six women every day are raped, sexually harassed or forced into marriage to a Muslim man under the threat of death for their Christian faith…”
A separate study led by Rev. Philip Mounstephen, the Bishop of Truro, and published earlier this year, states that “Evidence shows not only the geographic spread of anti-Christian persecution, but also its increasing severity. In some regions, the level and nature of persecution is arguably coming close to meeting the international definition of genocide, according to that adopted by the UN.”
After studying the bishop’s detailed report, British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt concluded that the persecution of Christians is “near genocide levels.”
Both studies make clear that the majority of persecution occurs in the Muslim world.  In seven of the top ten worst nations, “the primary cause of persecution is Islamic oppression,” notes Open Doors. Additionally, 38 of the 50 nations that persecute Christians the most are Muslim majority.
The Bishop of Truro’s report gives specifics:
  • “The persecution of Christians is perhaps at its most virulent in the region of the birthplace of Christianity—the Middle East & North Africa.”

  • “Christianity now faces the possibility of being wiped-out in parts of the Middle East where its roots go back furthest. In Palestine, Christian numbers are below 1.5 percent; in Syria the Christian population has declined from 1.7 million in 2011 to below 450,000 and in Iraq, Christian numbers have slumped from 1.5 million before 2003 to below 120,000 today.”
  • “In countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia the situation of Christians and other minorities has reached an alarming stage.”

  • “[T]here is mass violence which regularly expresses itself through the bombing of churches, as has been the case in countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, and Indonesia.”

  • “The single-greatest threat to Christians [in Nigeria] … came from Islamist militant group Boko Haram, with US intelligence reports in 2015 suggesting that 200,000 Christians were at risk of being killed… Those worst affected included Christian women and girls ‘abducted, and forced to convert, enter forced marriages, sexual abuse and torture.’”
  • “An intent to erase all evidence of the Christian presence [in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, north-east Nigeria and the Philippines] was made plain by the removal of crosses, the destruction of Church buildings and other Church symbols. The killing and abduction of clergy represented a direct attack on the Church’s structure and leadership.”
Outside the Muslim world the persecution of Christians is getting significantly worse, particularly in North Korea, where “never-ending pressure and violence” is directed against Christians; in India, for the first time in modern history Christians are experiencing “extreme persecution.”
In the end, numbers and statistics will never suffice to capture the magnitude of the problem.  “Too many to count, too many unknown,” states the video by International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: “All because they bear the name of Jesus.”

Why Drudge Report went to the dark side

Begun as an email newsletter, Matt Drudge‘s the Drudge Report became a news aggregator website in 1996.
By 2003, Drudge Report became so popular it made almost $1.3 million a year in advertising revenues. In 2006, while dissing the Drudge Report, Time magazine named Matt Drudge one of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2007, New York Times reporter Jim Rutenberg said that according to Nielsen/NetRatings, the Drudge Report got three million unique visitors a month, or approximately one percent of the population of the United States.
So successful is the Drudge Report that it has made its creator and editor Matt Drudge, 53, a multimillionaire, with an estimated net worth of $150 million.
What made Drudge Report so popular was its conservatism. Indeed, in 2001, Drudge told the Miami New Times that “I am a conservative. I’m very much pro-life. If you go down the list of what makes up a conservative, I’m there almost all the way.”
Drudge Report had supported Donald Trump in the 2016 election. But then I began to notice a change since Trump’s presidential inauguration when Drudge Report increasingly posted links to anti-Trump (and therefore anti-“Deplorables” — the 63 million Americans who had voted for him in 2016) mainstream media outlets like CNN and the Washington Post.
Simply put, I didn’t go on Drudge Report for CNN. So I stopped reading Drudge Report.
Sometime before WordPress took down FOTM on August 15, 2018, in comments on FOTM I broached the subject of Drudge Report ceasing being conservative. To ensure I wasn’t imagining things, I did a search online and found other websites saying the same thing. A longtime FOTM reader who had effusively praised FOTM and “Dr. Eowyn” took such issue with my observations about Drudge Report that he became verbally abusive. After I banned him from commenting, he sent me an email in which he stooped to racist and gender insults. All of which completely baffled me why he had so much invested in a news aggregator site that he took any criticism of Drudge Report as a personal affront.
Then TrailDust noticed the transformation of Drudge Report as well, and wrote two posts warning our readers:
A couple of our readers speculated that Matt Drudge turned to the dark side because he’s gay and has a new boyfriend. The never-married and childless Drudge has consistently denied the rumors of him being homosexual, but in January 2016, Southfloridagaynews.com reported that he had given away half of his real estate holdings to Juan Carlos Alvarado, his roommate of eleven years.
Citing a YouTube video by Josh Bernstein, Kelleigh Nelson of NewsWithViews has another explanation for why Matt Drudge went to the dark side. Below are excerpts from her November 9, 2019 post, “Drudge Sells Out Trump, Helps Democrats“:
Drudge used to break stories before the mainstream media or Fox News even knew about them; they went to Drudge to find out the latest.  Josh Bernstein recently exposed what has happened to Drudge.  He says we should boycott Drudge and I agree with him.
In a surprising turn, Drudge Report removed ads between the end of May and mid-July of this year according to Danny Rogers, a cofounder of the Global Disinformation Index, a project that’s analyzing domains to generate “risk ratings of the world’s media websites.” After noticing an absence of ads on Drudge around May 31, Rogers told BuzzFeed they didn’t see any ads on Drudge until about July 12.
During that period, Drudge cast off his advertising representative of close to 20 years, Intermarkets, in favor of a new and unknown company, Granite Cubed. It has no record in the digital ad industry, was only registered as a company in March of this year, and lists no staff or owners on its websites. Yet it just landed one of the biggest websites in the US.
Corporate records show that Granite Cubed is owned by Margaret Otto. According to Pathmatics, a marketing and advertising platform owned by Margaret Otto, she and her husband, Adrian, have close ties to both Matt Drudge and his father, Bob Drudge. The Ottos have known the Drudges since 1999.  Pathmatics, a marketing intelligence platform, estimates that over the past 12 months the site generated more than $30 million in ad revenue. Another estimate from the Global Disinformation Index, to be published in a report next month, pegs revenue at $9 million per year.
The Otto’s also acquired another company in 2017 founded by Bob Drudge called Refdesk.  Adrian Otto joined Google Cloud in 2017 and is their technical director. Matt Drudge is now in bed with Google and Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google.
Alphabet Inc., Google subsidiaries, and YouTube all detest President Trump and everything on the Drudge Report has switched from supporting conservative sites and our president to leftwing media who despises President Donald Trump and his supporters.  Drudge’s links now go to mainstream media like CNN and MSNBC.  Conservative media is rarely seen anymore.
Drudge gave up his relationship with his conservative advertising company of 20 years and joined with the enemies of freedom because they are family vested via Matt’s father, Bob Drudge.
It all makes for a startling shift for a publisher best known for a strategy rooted in changing nothing about his site’s operation. It’s also causing the ad industry to look closely at the mysterious new firm and its high-profile customer.
Bigger bucks must be involved.  Shades of Anthony Scaramucci.
Here’s the video of Josh Bernstein:
It must be said that Bernstein’s account is of Matt Drudge switching Drudge Report‘s advertising representative to a new and unknown company, Granite Cubed, the husband-and-wife owners of which have ties to Matt’s father, Robert Drudge, who is a Democrat. But Matt’s father (and mother too) has always been a Democrat, and a constant (Robert Drudge being a Democrat) cannot explain a variable (Matt turning against Trump and embracing the liberal media). Nor does Matt changing Drudge Report‘s advertising representative explain his political transformation — changing advertising representative likely is a result, not the cause, of his political transformation.
And so, the reason for Matt Drudge’s and the Drudge Report‘s transformation remains a mystery.

‘Anti-Hate’ Southern Poverty Law Center Partner Funds Violent Canadian Antifa

It shouldn’t be a big demand for left-wing groups to disavow Antifa violence wherever it occurs and certainly not to partner with the movement or its supporting organizations. This is especially the case for bellwether leftist groups, such as the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), whose moral authority and influence is so strong within the left-wing universe. So why is the SPLC partnering with such a group in Canada?
Just like here in the United States, Antifa in Canada is a big problem. Recently, it issued a statement to a Canadian broadcaster that read, “Sometimes, it is necessary to go against what the mainstream considers ‘acceptable,’ to break the law in order to do the ethical thing.” Such Antifa “ethics” are routinely put on display north of the border.
Over the last few years, Canadians have watched Antifa assault journalists, batter innocent bystanders, destroy public and private property, and even firebomb buildings. Events Antifa deems “fascist” or “hateful,” including Christian and standard conservative events, are routinely obstructed by way of onsite violence, phoned-in death threats, or, as in one instance this month, public defecation. Such suppressed and near-suppressed events have included, ironically enough, public discussions focused on the importance of free speech in democratic societies.

We Have to Commit Violence, We Read an Op-Ed

Recently, Antifa garnered national news coverage in Canada when a group of its members, including a Syrian immigrant, were filmed outside one such forum physically intimidating an elderly woman with a walker and shouting in her face, “Nazi scum, off our streets.” The forum was organized by political commentator Dave Rubin along with candidates of the People’s Party of Canada: a new conservative political party which, unlike the establishment conservatives, is calling for a reduction of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s near-record immigration levels.
Reports and other footage from the event recorded dozens of other attendees being shoved, spat on, and subjected to the same “Nazi scum” chants as was the elderly lady (whose relatives, I should add, apparently fought actual Nazis in World War II). Officers arrested several Antifa members as a consequence of their violence.
That incident was apparently a response to an op-ed appearing in the local newspaper. It accused Rubin and his guests of “ushering people into the neo-Nazi movement” and demanded the venue renege its contract — which nearly happened after venue operators claim to have received threats.
Behind the op-ed was an outfit called the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAN), a self-described “hate-monitoring” organization based in Toronto. Not only does CAN model itself on the SPLC, it maintains a partnership with the group, which has included receiving SPLC funding and support.
Unsurprisingly, the two appear to follow the same business model. Just like the SPLC, CAN makes inflated and fearmongering claims about the number of threatening “hate groups” operating in Canada. While the SPLC outlandishly puts the number of such groups in the United States at more than 1,000, CAN officials put the number in Canada around 300, a far higher figure considering the country’s relatively tiny population.

This SPLC Affiliate Openly Supports Antifa

CAN goes a step further than the SPLC, however, in that CAN has actually expressed support for the Antifa movement, including its belligerence, balaclava-wearing intimidation tactics, and even its extremist violence. CAN Chairman Bernie Farber, for instance, has praised the use of “muscular resistance” as an alternative to “peaceful protest.” Another CAN official, Richard Warman, has reportedly provided funding to violent Antifa groups.
In a tweet to followers after the recent old lady-bashing incident, CAN leader Evan Balgord admonished the offenders’ failure to “be media aware” and praised the other menacing Antifa attendees for having taken a “principled stand.” In a blog post in which Balgord tries to “explain Antifa,” he mounts an outright defense of the group, writing that Antifa critics present “a distorted image of the movement [when they] point to examples of anti-fascists using black bloc (confrontational) tactics to suggest that recent responses to racist groups is somehow equivalent to or responsible for the violence of the racist alt-right movement.” To do so, he claims, is to create “a false equivalency.”
Putting aside the broad brush Balgord uses to paint as “alt-right” the groups he and Antifa simply do not like, and his obvious downgrading of Antifa violence to mere “confrontational tactics” or “natural responses to racism” — elsewhere in the post, he uses “physical disruption” in lieu of actually saying “violence” — he’s openly stating that the public should place Antifa above the normal moral strictures they apply to everyone else.
In other words, if you apply objective standards for condemning violence — for instance, by asking, “What if an unprovoked ‘alt-rightist’ shoved and spat on peaceful attendees at a free speech event?” — you’re guilty of making a “false equivalency” (and you’re probably “Nazi scum” on top of it).
Elsewhere, he writes that Antifa does engage in “physically removing the opposition” as well as “violence and property damage while wearing masks. … However, they maintain that this violence is defensive in nature.” Sure, but don’t all violent groups paint their tactics in such defensive terms? And if the other side took this same line, would Balgord similarly take them at their word? Or might he perhaps observe them with a tad more scrutiny?
The SPLC must disavow its northern partner for defending, embracing, and empowering Antifa both in Canada and indirectly elsewhere. As in America, globalist extremism in Canada is accelerating. Failing to disavow such activities only normalizes them, pushing groups like Antifa even further into the dark, aimless world of terrorism and treason.

ABC News Fires Anchor for Revealing They Knew the Truth of the Epstein Story for 3 years

“I’ve Had This Story for Three Years… (ABC) Would Not Put It on The Air” says Good Morning America Breaking News Anchor, and 20/20 Co-Anchor Amy Robach.  “It Was Unbelievable… We Had - Clinton, We Had Everything…”
• Robach: “We Had Her Whole Allegations About Prince Andrew…I Got a Little Concerned About Why I Couldn't Get On.”
• Amy Robach Describes How She Interviewed a Woman Who Had the Courage to Come Forward “Years” Ago About Epstein: “She Had Pictures, She Had Everything. She Was in Hiding for Twelve Years. We Convinced Her to Come Out. We Convinced Her to Talk to Us.”
• Robach Details ABC’s Initial Response to Her: “Who's Jeffrey Epstein? No One Knows Who That is. This is a Stupid Story
• Robach: “Now it's All Coming Out … I Freaking Had All Of It…”

(New York, NY) Newly revealed footage leaked by an ABC insider has exposed how network executives rejected allegations against Jeffrey Epstein years ago, even though there was content regarding the merit of those claims in-hand.

Amy Robach, ‘Good Morning America’ Co-Host and Breaking News Anchor at ABC, explains how a witness came forward years ago with information pertaining to Epstein, but Disney-owned ABC News refused to air the material for years. Robach vents her anger in a “hot mic” moment with an off-camera producer, explaining that ABC quashed the story in it’s early stages.  “I've had this interview with Virginia Roberts (Now Virginia Guiffre) [alleged Epstein victim]. We would not put it on the air. Um, first of all, I was told “Who's Jeffrey Epstein.  No one knows who that is.  This is a stupid story.”

She continues, “The Palace found out that we had her whole allegations about Prince Andrew and threatened us a million different ways.”

Robach goes on to express she believes that Epstein was killed in prison saying, “So do I think he was killed? 100% Yes, I do…He made his whole living blackmailing people... Yup, there were a lot of men in those planes. A lot of men who visited that Island, a lot of powerful men who came into that apartment.”

Robach repeats a prophetic statement purportedly made by Attorney Brad Edwards “…[T]here will come a day when we will realize Jeffrey Epstein was the most prolific pedophile this country has ever known,” and Disgustedly Robach states “I had it all three years ago.”

EXTINCTION REBELLION CO-FOUNDER SAYS CLIMATE PROTEST IS ABOUT ENDING IDEA HETEROSEXUALITY IS “NORMAL”

The co-founder of Extinction Rebellion writes that the climate protest “isn’t about the climate” and is actually about toppling European civilization and ending the idea that heterosexuality is “normal.”

Wait, what?

In a lengthy article for Medium entitled ‘Extinction Rebellion isn’t about the Climate’, Stuart Basden reveals the true goals of the far-left environmentalist action group.

Basden asserts that whatever climate problems exist can’t be fixed and that the movement should instead be focused on tearing down the entire system of western capitalism (China, the world’s biggest polluter, isn’t mentioned once).

He claims that “European civilization” is to blame for spreading “cruelty” and “violence” throughout the globe for the last 600 years and bringing “torture, genocide, carnage and suffering to the ends of the earth.”

He then cites numerous “delusions” which are to blame for this situation, including “white supremacy,” “patriarchy” and “class hierarchy” (a strange one given that most Extinction Rebellion protesters are upper middle class snobs who do little but inconvenience and harm the working class).

“The delusions of hetero-sexism/heteronormativity propagate the idea that heterosexuality is ‘normal’ and that other expressions of sexuality are deviant,” writes Basden.

So it’s not about climate change, it’s about ending the idea that heterosexuality is the default biological breeding setting for humankind.

Ok, then.

Just for good measure, at the end of the article, Basden admits that he has been harassing his own family to send reparations to black families in America who share the same name to compensate for his white guilt over slavery.

As we highlighted earlier, the general public has vehemently rejected Extinction Rebellion, culminating in an incident today where posh climate protesters were dragged from the roof of a train by angry commuters furious at being delayed.

NZ Police meet with gang leaders to try and convince them to surrender guns

Illegal guns are remaining in the hands of organised crime as gang leaders refuse to give up their weapons.

Police have met with more than 50 gang leaders in an effort to get them to comply with firearm law changes before an amnesty ends.

But it's proving to be fruitless, as the patched members remain "very reluctant", Police Commissioner Mike Bush told the Justice Select Committee on Thursday.

"We have identified over 100 influential gang leaders and spoken to about half of them about how they are managing this and what their approach and attitude toward that [amnesty] is."

After the committee meeting, Bush said communication lines with senior patched gang members had revealed they had a different approach to law abiding members of the public, in relation to the return of guns.

"They were very reluctant to be part of this."

He did not think many patched gang members had handed in their guns.

Police already had a strategy for dealing with gangs and that is what police were using to get to the unlawful firearms, he said.

"They are in the hands of people involved in organised crime."

During organised crime interventions, police located a lot of unlawful firearms, he said.

"If people are in possession of an unlawful firearm this very minute and we know about it, we will be taking the approach we have always taken …  we have information, we will be going there."

Deputy Commissioner Mike Clement told the committee that out of the 37 adult gangs across the country, 115 key people had been identified and police had met with 53 to talk.

Police did not expect patched gang members to front up to collections but were hopeful they would listen and do the right thing, Clement said.

But at the end of the day, police could not compel them to give up their unlawful guns and could only create an environment to hand over firearms under amnesty, he said.

After the meeting, National's Justice spokesperson and former police officer Mark Mitchell said asking gangs nicely to give up illegal weapons didn't  work.

"The gun buyback scheme ends next month. Police have acknowledged that the gangs haven't been handing in their firearms. Police Minister Stuart Nash has sent out a reminder. He needs to do more than that to get the gangs listening."

FPOs gave frontline police staff the ability to act in real time to search and recover illegal firearms in the possession of gang members, he said.

"We've done all the work and written the Bill. Police Minister Stuart Nash should support it."

It comes after Stuff revealed a flashy new breed of suited gangster had drawn the ire of Police Minister Stuart Nash, who plans to increase police powers to target the criminal kingpins.

He was planning a review of the Crimes Act and proceeds of crime laws, that will go after gang hierarchy and bring a paper on Firearm Prohibition Orders (FPOs) to Cabinet, which aims to keep guns out of the hands of gangs.

During the committee, National's police spokesman Brett Hudson asked Bush about the estimate (60,000 - 173,000) of how many now prohibited firearms were in the country and if he had confidence it was at the 60,000 or lower level.

It follows a report by Stuff that police could struggle to collect even the lowest estimate of banned guns and could fall short before the December 20 deadline. This led Police Minister Stuart Nash to question if there could be fewer guns in the country than experts calculated.

"There is no science or ability to be accurate on the numbers ... we have no way of knowing," Bush said.

Official figures show that between July 13 and October 29 about 32,659 firearms were collected and more than $62 million had been paid out so far.

Police had talked to nearly 20,000 gun owners at more than 330 collection events around the country, and 200 more will be held in the next 50 days, as the end of the six month amnesty and buy-back draws to an end.

There would be no extensions.

"This will be a success because after six months, there would have been ample opportunity for good, honest law-abading people to surrender firearms. I can guarantee that after that six months, we will be entitled to and will be out there looking for the people who didn't comply," Bush said.

Clement told the committee 67 per cent of the firearms bought in the buyback were in the semi-automatic category.
